It was somewhere around where this photo was taken that he sadly lost his life - it's called Coniston water in Northern England, not a lake as it has water flowing into and out of it freely. By the way he was trying to bring back the World Water speed record back to the UK from the USA!

The photo is of myself setting a speed record at 91.57 MPH for the class in 2007 on the 40th anniversary of Campbell's accident.
