It was a Formula and This is what happened to it.

A P1 Yanmar/Arneson Hustler did 90mph on Coniston Water at record week a couple of years ago - what is the speed limit now?????

Is that why the bows are painted orange?

The class limit in Supersport is 90 MPH this year. Last year it was 85 MPH.

your pretty close, mid 80's , looking for upper 80's is the real numbers so far

The new Pantera 41' "P1 Edition" got weighed today in England. 10,500 with approximately 20 gallons in the fuel tanks. P1 race rules require the boat to come in right at 10,400 pounds with twin Mercury Racing 525 EFI's at the end of the race so we are right on it.

Here is a short video we took the 1st time the new Pantera 41' hit the water. My original plans were to take some video out in the Ocean and make the video atleast 10 - 15 minutes long.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ke16Nr95NM

Since it was the 1st time we had run a new 41' my friend JC the owner of the original "Warpath" Apache 41' let me borrow the props off of it ( 32 pitch 4 blade ) to give us a baseline. They were all over the rev limiters at 84 MPH with the drives tucked in and approximately 25 % left of throttle so I did not bother to run the boat anymore until the following day.

The following day Mercury Racing Factory Rep. (Brad Halpin) brought along a set of ( 17 1/4 by 35 ) 5 blades that were much faster and accelerated awesome. The slip # were also much improved over the 4 blade props off of Warpath. I could not get the gentelman shooting the video to come out the following day on such a short notice. We will add more footage from Europe in the coming weeks after the new 41' makes it race debut next week in Sardinia, Italy.

We will be testing a few more Mercury Racing and Hering props on Tuesday so I am sure the boat will only be getting faster with more test time.
