Purgatory video Jax 2010

Ok guys,
Hope this works....took me a while to figure out how to edit the GoPro HD. The most amazing thing was that the suction cup mount actually stayed on at 170!!

Broke my props testing the day before and had to run my small set. We hit the limiters at 2:27 secs in the video and backed it down to around 160 to keep it together.....that is until I saw something red flying up my rear. At 3:12 I got back into it but PP was already doing around 180 and I was limited to 170 with my spare props.

Great video thanks for posting if you didn't slow down a few times those guy"s would have never caught up.

McGary911 06-09-2010 08:00 PM

Insane. Thanks for posting that. I knew there was a video like this out there somewhere when I saw that little camera mount when you were docked at the Outback......

Great little mount. That camera must have some pretty wicked stabilization, as the vid came out perfect.

Congrats on a great run.

Lucky you, mine fell off my jet ski...sitting still! It's somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico filming the oil slick! :grinser010: GP gave me a big discount on a new camera.

What are you using to edit with? I usually use Final Cut Pro on a Mac. Just have to plug the camera in and drag the file from the memory card to the desktop.

BTW.....:evilb: on the video! That was way cool!

Formulabill 06-09-2010 09:34 PM

Next year , instead of watching the videos , bring your boats to Jacksonville and be part of the videos.

Bigger and faster every year. Don't miss the tenth annual event in 2011.

Dale, thanks for the great camera work and for being in the poker run.

boat (and video) are awesome!

I couldn't believe how hard Pyburn was pulling at the 3 minute mark in that video. That 388 is unbelievable!

2 busted belts before the bridge in 2 years at his own event, that sucked!
