Randy,

Great idea. Let me give it some thought. Maybe a corporate board meeting at LACE with the honorable DaveP presiding?

actually, it was a combo deal. with straight line racing it becomes a drag race and less competative. going in circles with shicanes makes the racing much more competative. you need close racing to draw a crowd. the courses are slowley changing and more spectators are coming. it took nascar a long time. it will happen. everbody be patient. rome wasn't built in a day.

RTaylor:

"Intelligent"..........me?..... you must be mistaken.

But, while I'd be glad to "bounce" some ideas around.....anytime..... a titty bar may not be the ideal locale... Come to Skater Fest and we'll convene the first meeting. With guys like Linder, Patel, Hledin, Lewis, D'anniballe et al...we'll have PLENTY of input.

Did I mention that Powerboat magazine is sending a reporter and photographer?... Maybe they'll record our musings for posterity.

All are welcome...............

I think we could get the PRIVATE BOARD ROOM for such a meeting.

Imagine 20 strippers on top of a 30 person boardroom table?

NOW WE'RE TALKING!

Waterspeed - we dub you "Sargent At Arms!"
DJD - we dub you "Entertainment Director"
Shane - we dub you "CHIEF Inspector"

We'll put race tapes on the big screen & ambassadoors on everyone's laps!

Hey T2x...

Speaking of "booths"...are we sharing one again for the NYC Poker run?

Or are we running your new toy

Hey RTaylor...I know what you mean watching from the shore can be hard to keep up with whos doing what, unless you just concentrate on one class...I am very fortunate to sit on a turn boat, so it is a bit easier to keep track, but I see your point...

Treadwell,
Agreed. Look at the progress from Daytona last year to this year. Great things are certainly ahead. One could certainly see the work that went into it, and if that effort is exerted every year, we will be where we want to be sooner than later.
