In addition (if you don't mind) if you are using a Weldon Pump and can separate from the fuel system. Three good "squirts" of Marvel Mystery" into the inlet of the pump, cycle for a second or two and cap pump off with protective AN caps. Also keep fuel lines capped with the proper AN plug or cap.

If you cannot split from system easily, make sure that you've got enough of a good fuel stabilizer / mositure inhibiter to prevent the pump's internals from rust and corrosion. We use no plastics or phenolics inside of our pumps -- only tool steel.

Start the next boating season off with new fuel filters (water separator / filter & secondary fuel filter).

thanks

If you own jet boat...it is very easy to fog engine, stabilize in the gas tank and winterize your jet boat for winter.

Race fuel wont break down like gasoline or 10%ethanol mix. You can put that in the tanks for long-term storage.

I leave about a 1/3 tank in mine with stable in it over the winter. In the spring I fill it and add Toluene. Never had an issue.

I agree with the rest though. I wouldn't want 3/4 of a tank of old fuel in my boat to start the season.
