Be glad you dont have to boat the intercoastal ,
a lot of it is idle speed to protect the sea cows..
What used to be a nice ride up and down the coast in my youth

Manatees, the Aquatic Illegal alien, they do nothing but crap up the bay bottom and eat all the grass. Plus they are hard on Props, but taste good as I understand it.

I thought that I had heard somewhere that they were NOT A NATIVE SPECIES to Florida. Can anyone confirm this? If it's true, maybe we could introduce an environmental class-action suit to get them classified a nuisance species like snakeheads, stinkbugs, etc...

Yes, there is a specified manatee/turtle watch helicopter in the air which the racing organization has to pay for at most all of the races in Florida....
