Just need to shed a little weight.

Shed too much weight and your balance wont be so good w/ bbcs. The 28 is a heavy tank. Handles the engine weight better that way.

think Tex gave a good estimation of the values... If you're looking for info on a particular boat I suggest contacting Bobby Saccenti or Eric Froberg directly...

Not sure what's going on here with this thread, nor do I really care...but, one thing I did notice was how when I made it clear on "this site" that I wouldn't be posting on the other site, there was a post made on the "other site" baiting me to respond... I didn't respond and sent a private message from this website when I read it and my message wasn't responded too.. Things that make ya go hmm..

Anyway, have a great day and enjoy your boats whether your using them or not. I winterized mine over the weekend and I'm looking forward to next season!!!

[QUOTE=wjb21ndtown;3231430]There is pretty much a direct comparison in the classified section of this site. It's a 1991 28' with low run-time on rebuilds for $38K. I think its been there a while, so it might be a little high. I've heard of another 28' Apache in the upper $20's, so he's probably pretty close @ his asking price, if not right on.

QUOTE]

WJB21-- first off I just listed my 91' 28 Apache 2 weeks ago -- hasn't 'been there a while'
Second -- from what I've read about the other in the upper 20's -- not even comparable to my boat -- not to say that you're not right in saying that he might be pretty close for the shape that it is in.

I would also agree that Tex hit the nail on the head with his values.

Have prices gone up on these, or down?
