I am interested because I own a 1988 28 Brave also. I happen to follow them. Is that a problem here?

Nope, i just find it mildly amusing that you come over here and post 10 posts in a row to a member that asks a question about a boat. I only came to this thread because I love 28 Braves. Is that wrong on an offshore boating forum?
I just hope that it doesn't turn out that Alec is another Big Scotty or Fred Cecil, and that he didn't lie to the good members here about an Apache that never existed for some manipulative reason.

Nort dragged it up as part of a defamation campaign against a guy with a competing website. s e r i o u s o f f s h o r e d o t c o m.
Anyway, I am glad that he brought it back. It brought back a lot of memories.
Since my post that Nort quoted, Chris has started an entire forum for his friends, he has given thousands to charity, He even took a day off of work and met me at 3am so he could drive 500 miles and then tow my boat back because I didn't have enough tow rig.
Then he arranged for a great cam builder to do my cams and ordered me new AFR heads and then he paid for it and let me pay him back later. Then he brought the parts to a poker run for me.
