gotta love the classics. Probably enormously impractical though as far as mainteance and inspections to keep one of these old things in the air . Certainly was a milestone aircraft . . . .

GE 610 power, Low bypass. You have to get high fast, fuel flow is very high down low. You not aren't going to be able to put a 200 hr. pilot in that, I think even a 2000 hr. would be a problem insurance wise. You would need a type rating, Very old school no G1000 in there. Alot to know traveling 8 miles a minute and 7 miles above the earth. Doug

That is a great airplane. It's on my list someday! I spent some time with the Pilatus guys at Oshkosh going over the PC-12 NG, they were trying hard to sell one. Unfortunately trading my Mooney would hardly make the down payment!

Cessna. I thought she said it was a 4 seater when I asked? Should have asked her more about the plane.
We had some off-handed conversation about maintenence requirements/schedules ect. She seemed very knowledgable and at-ease with the few things we did talk about.
Kind of shocked me as she is YOUNG like 25 young.
Says her father has been flying for 30 years so I take it she had an early introduction?

the rate sounded pretty reasonable to this novice as one thing I have understood is that they are as expensive to keep on the ground as they are to fly?
Plus all the requirements/maintenence and fuel?
She was probably talking about a 172. Great airplane and a good deal. Sounds like a great person to learn from!!

No problem! Hauls a lot as well!
