This guy has some feedback issues that he addresses... He also appears to be engaging in "shill" bidding which is to say that he has a buddy(or himself) who is bidding the item up for him which is how he can afford to hold these "no reserve" auctions. Look at his top bidder and you will see that he has a 42% bid rate with this particular seller.

Yup! Look at the bid history also. Appears that same person is bidding the item up against himself.

I put in a 28000 bid and was outbid within an hour by this user. Definitely shill bidding. Not a good way to run a "NO Reserve" auction but it does draw the bidders in........worked on me. Now his bid rate is up to 46%. I'll bet he ends up being the winner. :angry-smiley-038: Still a nice boat, after a good cleaning.

those motors and drives are most likely damaged.

I agree. I considered bidding on the thing, but I think it's priced about right where it is. The interior needs work and I'm guessing the motors do as well... and who knows about the drives...

OUTLAW11 12-28-2010 08:48 PM

what are the1200 efi motors and drives worth

rangerrick63 12-28-2010 09:06 PM

I do believe that is the same boat that has been sitting at a marina in Gulfshores, AL for several years, & was being listed as a consignment.
It was listed on boat trader online thru the same marina.
I think the asking price was in the low 80's...
I was always planning on running over to take a look, but at that price, I didn't think it would be worth the effort.
I'm not sure if the boat is still in the area...
Good luck :drink:

what is the hull worth wont the motors only :evilb:

Griff 12-29-2010 11:11 AM

If the boat was in very good condition, I would say its worth close to 50-60k. Without knowing the real condition, its impossible to tell what it is worth.
I would guess that if the hull is in good shape and the interior is fair, that w/o power and drives, its probably worth 25k.
