I want a true performace boat.

I need a boat before spring , will prices start to climb again as the season nears? With the economy I doubt it. My dilema is , do I sell a few of my tanks to liquidate some cash and wait. Possibly missing some deals , or just buy in the 50-75 range now and have more boats than brains.
If I can sell , it may free me up for the six digit plus range and a better boat. Plus free up storage and insurance $.
I also feel for my first true performace , I should keep it simple , single engine 75- 85 mph.
What do you think? OCCJoe turned me on to a bad ass activator if it only wasnt so damn Orange.

If you want that Activator so bad buy it and repaint it. As has been said, very few boats in its class can run with it.
OTOH Fountain40's 35Motion is a steal. Almost 10' longer and cheaper than the 26 Redline.

I'd sell your other boats, & buy either a used Gladiator or Donzi.
If you are in the $50-$70k range WITH your other boats, then I'd assume you'd be close or over $100k if you sold them. You stand to get a MUCH better boat, & deal, if you get rid of the others & increase your leverage.

Performance boat
An Eliminator 27ft Daytona is a great option for a single engine/performance cat with looks and speed used for under 85K...this is the largest tunnell you'll find with 1 engine... other wise any larger you'll be in twin engine and lots more money...Good Luck!

If you are set on a 30 Activator, PhantomBronx has one of the nicest for sale, and could be bought w/o power.
If you dont mind a no name boat, the 32 Bad Boy for sale is very cool and inexpensive.
A 28 Pantera is a bit slower than you'd like to go, but is well known and could be sold fairly easily.
