Default HELP trim sender wires

My new trim sender wires have a male and female round connector on black wires instead of the black w/purple sleeve on one of the wires. Which connector is the negative? the male or the female?

It doesn't matter! You are only measuring resistence through the sender and your system doesn't care if the resistence is coming or going. (unlike some other things I've been hooked up to) --- Jer
