Skater 40 Flatdeck / 40SS
 

I was looking at several pics of 40 Flatdecks and 40SS models

Does one hull have a performance advantage over the other?

Does the 40SS have the same bottom? seems like it has alot more tunnel width.....40 Flatdeck seems more low/profile...

Does the 40 Flatdeck come with a Full-wrap windshield? all pics I saw of the Flatdecks were canopied.....????

ANYONE GOT ANY PICS....?????

WOW, im just shocked at some of your guys answers and how rude you are to the younger generation. This place has gone way down hill. The question he is asking about the two different hulls is a pretty good question and i would like to know the answer, but all he gets is crap about his posting and his age. If any of you guys asked it then it seams that would be OK. Whats up, not trying to stir the pot, just an observation. If it that he asks questions about things he cant afford, we all do that.

So does anyone know the differnece in the two hulls, im curious.

OK, here it goes.

40' classic length 40'
beam 10'11"
weight 4750lb's

40' Super Sport length 40'
beam 12'
weight 4750lb's

The tunnel in the 40 Super Sport is a little deeper and wider. The 40' SS has a 7" wider tunnel, the 40' SS front tunnel height is 6" taller and the rear is 1" taller.

28 Skater I don't know the history; just stumbled on this thread. Fact is there is limited to no valuable information on these boards anymore. If someone has enough cash and is stupid enough to buy a boat from what they read on an internet blog...we'll just leave it at that.
