Default 38 Top Gun TRS to BRAVO change

Would like to get rid off TRS's and Transmissions and install Bravo's> So want to know how big of deal is it to redo transom and re-rig for Bravo and should I buy take out set up instead looking for parts and bits.

Go with Konrads or Arnesons. Bravo will be a weak link

Do a search on this and for TRS drives here and you may change your mind. I had posted about the Kondad drive swap but unless you are going over 600hp keep the TRS they are stronger than a Bravo. A trans is smoother shifting also.

Don't switch to Bravos. Keep the TRS or go with Konrads.

And to answer your question - it would be a pain in the ass. New Transom, move the engines, all new rigging, etc.....

I am not sure if they are still available but there is a set of Konrads in the swap shop for a great price. You can contact Biggus on the board to answer any questions you may have. He is at the show now so if you have trouble getting him that may be why.

Default Konrads for Sale

I have a used set of Konrad 540's for sale....great condition.
They have worked flawlessly on my previously TRS boat.
I'm parting out the whole boat since my new project has Arnesons.
PM me if you're interested and I will send you photos etc.
They are ready to ship including Konrad outer transom assemblies....also have hydraulic steering available.
