Thanks for the info, Pete... somehow, I don't think the Nikon metallurgists were figuring on a 72 hour saltwater submersion. Guess I have to get one of those throwaways with the rubber band attached :drink::drink: On the bright side this gives you a chance to shop for new stuff, which is always cool. Good luck getting it straightened out Jay. |

got back to the house a little while ago from TNT and popped the lenses off and the prognosis ain't good. :picard1: The bucket of water I carried them in had a layer of what looked like gray dust on the bottom. I guess the vibration from the ride shook it loose

So Jay, when we visit, I expect the master bedroom, lots of beer, and maybe you can show me how to use this Canon SX10 is I have. Love the zoom on it, but I have no idea at all how to use manual settings.
Oh, we're not picky, have a lot of Bud and Miller Lite on hand, some Tequilla would be nice as well :drink: |
So sorry to hear Jay, I was really excited about getting some shots of this run. Good Luck with getting your new equipment, let me know I will be more then happy to help out any way i can
