Grew up with my dads 1978 glastron Carlson cvx 16 that he bought brand new and still has to this day. I was 24 when I actually bought my own and it's a 1987 Concord Magnum II 20 ft. Kids and a mortgage make it tough but every year I do a little something to it to make it nicer. This year it got a new floor new seats and new engine that should be around 400 hp. I will post pics when it's all back together

At 20, I was racing in a 29' Mirage in "A" class. I didn't own the boat but got to race in it for 4 years. At the age of 24, I bought my first performance boat, a 13 year old 22' Donzi Classic. My next boat didn't come until I was 30 when I upgraded to a brand new 29' Kryptonite. Then 5 years later in 2007 I bought my 2003 38 ZrComp.

I can't believe how many of you "youngsters" I am 34 on my way to 35 have had not one but several boats already. I wanted to pull the trigger on first boat when I was 23! Something held me back, next thing I know my first down payment on a boat, my wife is now wearing on her finger, my second down payment, she ended up driving a brand new Toyota Four Runner, Third downpayment went to a house!
I pulled the hammer when I finally turned 32 and told the wife that she got three things to my none and if I did not have a boat before we had kids, that dream was never going to happen. So the first boat I own(ed) is 1997 Baja 322. So I got a 32 foot boat for my 32nd Birthday.
Next step is either a newer Sonic or Sunsation with 525's when I can afford it and convince the wife now that we have two boys!
Congrats to all for their efforts in enjoying what we all enjoy so early in adult life.

Just bought my first... 29 and bought a 25 foot AT Tantrum :)

My dad convinced me to buy a home before a boat (biggest mistake ever), and now my house has lost a TS Cig in value haha.

Anyways, at 28 I bought a 28 Powerplay, and my goal is to have a 38 PP (or Cig) by 38.

Every time I think I'm gonna sell the boat and buy bigger though I buy a new car (vette, then CTS-V), and I just bought a Harley yesterday. Gotta keep the toys diversified, but by the end of every summer I want the bigger boat.

I would keep the CTS-V, sell the other toys and bank the money for the boat. Will your truck handle the bigger boat?
