In the Oct. '94 issue is an index of boat tests. There is nothing for "Saber". Could it be under a different name? Otherwise I'll assume it's a later issue (which I may still have).

You know, that's exactly the kind of thing that Powerboat should be doing. A 6 part build up of a big hp N/A 502. It would keep people coming back for the next issue. I can't believe all the prop tests in these olds Hot Boats too. And not just a "Teague on Tech" but separate tech Q&A's for jets, outboards & IOs and sometimes for V-drive. All written by different experts. I'd like to send a bunch to Powerboat and say "read and learn".......

I also wanna say that I Really do appreciate you taking the time to look through this stuff !! Whether I ever directly benefit from it or not.. So many of us around here looked through these old mags 15-20 yrs ago & lusted like a 12 yr. old boy staying up till 2am to catch a flick on showtime.. haha !!

dbkski, I have the entire 4 part 502 EFI hop up series from 1997 and will post it as soon as I can.
Powerplay J, I found the Powerplay issue from 1993. It has a Powerplay 33' Sport Deck on the cover and a review inside. It's in excellent condition. I did not find one from 1996 but my collection is not complete. Find out which issue and I'll look again. $6 shipped. Send PM.
LittleNCS rodshop, I found the test of a Saber 28 Cyclone in the March '96 issue. It's also in excellent condition. $6 shipped. send PM.
JP, I could not find the "Blown Fear" DCB in any 2000 or 2001 issues but I'm missing a few. Get me the exact issue and I'll look again.
