THX for the suggestions guyz ...I am a total newbie at any off-shore stuff ...OTHER THAN just spectating. I have had a couple of lake-boats ... but this deal-here is way-diff than that. Originally Posted by Drock78

A cabin would be OK ... but not really that important. ALSO ... something else that was mentioned to me via a PM. That it is NOT the plan to gp-out with only a single motor. That reminded me about the tragedy with the football players ...was not motor related but they DID go-out with only one engine.

If I could have afforded it I would have bought a 28 pantera or Active Thunder. Both narrow beam, cabin, ride, great performance with single engine

Not sure what your definition of a narrow beam is but neither of those boats come to mind when I think narrow beam.Originally Posted by Drock78

Yup, I haven't actually measured my 30 Super, but my 24 was 7' at the WIDEST point (front of the fairing). The transom was only around 6'.Originally Posted by Indy

IMO..I consider anything 8' or less a narrow beam, but that's coming from me just owning a powerquest too .
