No the Baron was an original design, later sold to become the Powerplay/Powerquest out of Holland Michigan.

It did ride on the last 3 feet of the bottom, lot of rocker in the hull.

In 1980 my brother popped a mold off a 26 Monza we owned but closed the company soon after. Those molds were sold to Century and became the Ultra.

After a closer look the hulls are similar but different.[ATTACH=CONFIG]555066[/ATTACH]. I am bummed out I missed Lauderdale over spring break in the 80's. I should have headed a tad north, I spent spring breaks on the inner coastal in my room mates Florida house in north miami. I don't know if it was even possible, but we saw so many high end go-fast boatsl looking like they were being tested out, that we must have been near some boat manufacturing? is that possible?
