Here is my excalibur that i sold last year to Jerry.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dy0-VrTTk1Y THAT BOAT RUNS MID 80'S ALL DAY LONG.I'm setting up my fountain now with bravo's. Going pretty high with the x dimension and try running a set of 5 blades.I am putting a set of 177 blowers on my 454's so i'm shooting for high eighty's with it this year possible break 90 mark. The boat it pretty light really has no cabin. I guess we will see.
That batboat is just sick chuck.

9.5:1 w/ alum heads. These small blowers on a bbc work very well with higher static compression. I typically run 5psi with hyper pistons. This winter I changed to forged pistons so I will run my 6.2psi pulleys after the engines are broken in.

Dude this has got to be your first speed boat...Your already saying how fast your going to be. Okay your Motor dynoed 700hp get it in the boat and see what it runs.
i have been on the water all my life but it is my first speed boat, btw im only 28.
I bet money that the 502 you had in it with the aluminum heads and the single plane intake with an 850 and headers made more than 500hp more like 550 or more. so get it in and see what it runs......Just sayin
