Around this area, I see a high of 3.99, and many have retreated down to 3.87 and a low of 3.83. Starting to reverse course. Last week's rout of oil prices should have a decent impact this week and next.

Refinery capacity has not really been an issue. Many got out of the business, and others are trying hard to increase margins. You'd be a fool to build a new one now.

The way to increase margins is through exporting. Many US refiners did well by increasing exports the last year, and especially this year. Up 42% since a year ago. The demand overseas is high, and China is a glutton now. It became more profitable to export due to demand. We had plenty.

RBOB gas ended up 21 cents as of market close today...don't expect much change at pump now. We just made up for losses last week

all we have to do is raise margin requirements on oil futures trading and we'd stop all this BS.
Didn't they make some adjustments to the requirements?

Refined gasoline went up because of refinery capacity that is lower due to floods in Louisiana.
