Default Trying to ID an older Center Console

So I have a bit of a riddle here. There is a piece of property next to my girlfriends apartment with a boat sitting on it and curiosity finally got the best of me so I had to wander over there and check it out. No I'm just dying to figure out what I found. This thing is backed into the woods, surrounded by bamboo, has a tree growing through the trailer, and a registration sticker expired in '91 so it's definitely been there a bit. So here's what I've got so far.

Center console
Open bow, No cabin space
About 25'-30' Long (hard to judge)
8-9' Beam
Single I/O Drive, no through hull exhaust
Engine is gone, so no details there.

Here are a few quirky details that stood out to me
Padded combing with vertical stitching around the perimeter of the cockpit
Stainless railing around bow area 8-12" high off the deck
Black, red, and gray stripes, diagonal on the hull sides near the stern (These colors ring a bell but I can't quite place my finger on it)
Single 3-louver stainless vent near the stern on each side
Transom "u-bolts" mounted at a 45* angle
Wooden Swim with tubular stainless supports
"Sea-Gar-Ette Racing Team" text wrapped around a smiley face painted on the side (probably means nothing, but may indicate an era) Unless it's a Cigarette hull, that would be cool
The center 2-3 feet of the transom is stepped back 1-2 inches from the sides. Any particular manufacturer do this?

Going WAY out on a limb, if anybody remembers this thing running around in the NJ area 25 years ago it has the name "Runagroun' " painted on the side in lettering about 10 feet long.
I'll try and get a few pictures next time. I figured this could be a fun little challenge. What do you think it is?

Not sure yet. Where would I find it on a rig like this? The only boat I own was built prior to standardized HINs.

Larson or American International both used those tri-colors

Those IO center consoles are pretty cool.

I'll try to grab a few pics and numbers this weekend. Looking at a lot of pictures lately, I haven't found anything that matches, but that style bow rail seemed popular in the late 07s /early 80s

Cig had a 31' center console before that (late 80's) called a Decathlon, but I'm pretty sure they all had a cabin up front. At least I've never seen one that didn't.

I've also never seen one with I/O power.

They also had the 28 open in the 70's, but those are easy to ID with the dual console layout.

I don't know how I didn't see the the HIN the first time. If it was any more odvious it would have reached out and slapped me.

It's #PER240138M73

PER comes back to Southern California Performance Boats, but I can't seem to find any info on them except some modern jet boat stuff.

Yeah, Rough would be an understatement here.
