Not that I know about such things, buuuuuut, usually dragging tab and running fast means lots and lots of power. I've never seen anyone run a boat that out of control and not slow down or crash. I heard a great line yesterday -
"the OL did crash, many times, they just managed not to hit anything." Seriously though, those guys are completely out of their minds nuts to run that hard and out of control. Kudos to them!

If this is the article you're referring to, I'm not sure where the "sugarcoating" is, http://speedonthewater.com/in-the-ne...ite-underbelly. But you are, of course, entitled to your opinion.

Those guys are running the dog s*** out of that boat. Geico, Stihl and Snowy mountain are not leaving anything on the table, if they don't win I don't think anyone can say they didn't let it all hang out, sure is fun to watch. You gotta root for the under dogs too though Sun Print, WHM, and CMS(hard to call them under dogs with two 1650 powered boats just in case) are sure are keeping it interesting. I have only been watching this for the past few years and this is by far the best competition I have seen.

The OL drives away with a victory and puts distance on the field every lap. Looks like about a 23 second victory today
