No I don't know the history of the 24p. I have a powertech ofs4r25 on the way its a 4 blade 25pitch. Hopefully this is the prop for my boat. I've heard good things about the powertech.

Based on what Indy said, it can't hurt to try a unmodified 24P bravo. Is this boat new to you? The previous owner might of just put that prop on there for the sale.

Eeh, there seems to be something wrong here. 26" prop @ 5100 rpm's at 64 mph. 24% slip. That seems way too high. that was why I asked about the gear ratio.

Has anybody tried a powertech OFX4R25 prop on any boat?

Well then something's changed with the boat (weight, set-up, hull, etc.) because no way would my '02 spin a 26 up to 5200.

Good luck in your quest.

+1....though I've never personally tried a 26. My understanding is that all Heats have in the past, and continue to be equipped with a 24 B1 when powered by a 496HO.
