To date ,Lake Powell was our Best & Most adventurous trip yet ! We spent a week on a 75' Houseboat with two families ,,jet skis, A ski boat and alot of Food ! Dont forget anything because if you do ,You will NOT be able to get it for awhile .We had to take our jet skis for miles to get more marshmallows & Popcorn when we ran out ...
Great relaxing or Adventurous vacation !! A Fast boat is a Must next time .Should have taken the MTI then ..

Definitely on my radar. Been wanting to see it for a long time and plan to add it as part of a trip to Havasu or LOTO, likely this year.

Sounds like Lake Powell is begging for a run of some kind.

Lake Powell is a phenomenal experience.

A week on that lake barely scratches the edges of what is there.

It certainly is a place that should be on every boater's bucket list. We haven't picked a date yet but we're definitely going this year since it's "only" about a 600 mile tow.

The last time I went was with my dad in about 1978 so I'm due. :drool1:

I've been on Mead but not Powell. Looks/sounds like I need to get that on the list.

Lake Powell is one of the most beautiful lakes you will ever see. We used to go every other year until the prices of the houseboats almost doubled. It is a lot more fun if you bring other water toys(jet skies or another boat) and just use the house boat for "home base". I agree about making sure you have everything you need, if you run out, you either have to go back to shore or use one of the marina's on the water. With about 2k miles of shore line there is always something to see or do.
