I think every fast boat on the planet should show up - especially any that have "World's Fastest" painted on their rigs and/or boats -

I'm gonna sit this one out and wish everyone a very fast and safe weekend. JT & I have either taken Top Gun or won our class since 1996. Gonna feel good sitting in the television commentator's air conditrioned office and enjoying the races!

Sincerest best & safest wishes to everyone attending

I'm sure I speak for most, we will miss seeing you compete. It won't be the same without you. However, it does open the door for quite a few other boats and could get very interesting. Hopefully this is just a one year break for you.

Boat, motors & crew are ready. Just think watching for a change will be nice FYI - I've never been able to just watch & enjoy the Shootout. It's an awesome event & a great weekend for performance boaters! Plus, I won't have to wait until Sunday evening to enjoy a cool Anheuser Busch product

Thumbs up Skater 43 SS....

Personally, im hoping Gary's 43 "Predator" Skater takes the Top Gun , overall. Gary's a great guy and the boat/trailer/rig are amazing in person... Let's not forget Predator had new engines and was running 185mph w/ more left when Gary smoked the 1350 MTIs at DS in April...

HA! Not unless they get us some new stools. The old ones come with a free spine adjustment from a local chiropractor!

Jim, you're not bringing the olé Dar Skater out to try to break another 114 mph pass?
