I'm gonna sit this one out and wish everyone a very fast and safe weekend. JT & I have either taken Top Gun or won our class since 1996. Gonna feel good sitting in the television commentator's air conditrioned office and enjoying the races!

Sincerest best & safest wishes to everyone attending
Mr. Scott,

You have always been a stand up guy and a class act for others to follow!! I applaud you for all your accomplishments, past records and most importantly for the show you have put on for me and my family and everyone else year after year at the shootout!

With that being said, you are going to break my 7yr olds heart when I tell him this tonight. Maybe a Nauti-Marine tour for him the week of the shootout might make him feel better about not seeing you run this year! Just throwing that out.....

Again, thanks for everything you have done for the shootout and LOTO! You more than deserve a year off to be able to view the largest unsanctioned boat race in the US with an icy cold beverage (of your choice) in your hand! Sit back and relax for a chance!

185mph is a great number but remember hes only got a mile to get there, 208 is a huge number to grab in that short of a distance and on piston power none the less. What the Nautimarine guys did I think will be untouchable for a LONG ASS TIME. best of luck to all.
