Howards V hull ran 110mph, according to powerboat magazine, single engine, not sure how many HP

The Baja hull is non stepped, and heavy compared to others, but, I still think its one of the best "bang for the buck" out there.

Laster's 24LD Progression with a very simple Whipple charged 502 runs 95 MPH. I think that shows the difference between that hull and a Baja. Both are non-stepped v-bottoms. One is much more efficient.

The Velocity is a great hull, what is your projected speed with the new power?

There was a Howard Vee that ran 130+ MPH with a quad rotor whipple set up TPI1100, which is incredible for a vee hull.

It was Gary Taylors boat. He ended up getting in some serious trouble and is now in jail.
