Crash I was writing about was Donald Campbell in Bluebird. Crashed on second pass attempt. Internet searches say he reached 315.

Was that the boat that took off then slammed down the nose and it snapped off.

these are actual official documented speeds in speed events, im sure there are unofficial speeds not known
