Although AB's idea sounds appealing it only makes those who have been wronged just as bad. It will be better for all in the long run to change this travesty with an organized, public, factual approach involving authorities that have the power to make change. kicking (_!_) is easy, Making long term change is the goal.

Be a part of this effort, sign the petition, write to the powers in office that can make change, tell your boating friends, spread the word. Be heard. Be counted.

Haulinvols, NBC has just got involved. They have requested public documents from ODNR and say they will be working an investigation soon. You may see this story soon on your living room tv.

http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/...m-creek-s.html
The petition is in the hands of the Ohio Governor, The Colonel of the Army Corp of Engineers and the Director of the ODNR. Sign your name and make your voice heard for equal rights and public access to all boaters regardless of your propulsion system.

Send me a pm for mailing addresses and or pre stamped addressed envelopes.

Ralph, you need to get the word out around the lake. I tie up with 15-20 boats at the new swim cove and NOBODY knew or knows this is going on. You need to get in with all them and have a nice tie up back there with 20-30 boats. Steves boat alone with its noise and massive stereo system would drive them nuts. Just keep rubbing them back until they give in.

just remember those guys threatening families, women and children now will have to be dealt with sooner or later, even if you win legally these are the kinds of small manhood individuals that will slice your tires and cut your lines in the future or worse.

I cant see any real man bullying a woman ora family just over who gets to use a restroom

Offshore only is 50% of the petition signers. I am proud of you guys. It is normally perceived that Go fast boaters are not concerned about the environment, or political issues. I say to the contrary, you are more in tune than the general public.

My brother was back in the sailbote cove last weekend with his son and daughter and a friend and ordered a pizza to the sailbote marina..parked his boat on thier docks..walked up to the gate to get the pizza..said he didnt encounter any problems. He did say it was kinda sh1tty how they lock the gates to the marina..the guy had to pass the pizza over the gate. You should just organize a raft up in that cove and we will all be there.
