Correct, we played around with the Watch Your Back (30 fountain SVL) and the 47 ( with a pair of 1200) this past weekend at LOTO. It was a great weekend

Can anyone remember what year mike fiore and bob russel came in the gtx Ive been trying to find it online, no luck. If I remember right it went like 138 I think, and that was from a standing start.

can you explain a little more? is the higher octane just to prevent detonation, and since you aren't making enough boost to use the octane 100% the fuel is harder to ignite and consequently the engines makes slightly less power or something else?

Even though I am not a big fan of canopied boats for pleasure use, I must say that this particular boat looks great and evens runs better. Congrats on the run! Very impressive speeds for a v.
