Im not trying to be a jerk here..... may seem like a stupid question but if it has bolsters cant you either sit or stand? i have never sat in my little outlaw it has those drop out bolsters... i have never seen a gladiator in person. i just would prefer to stand in any v-hull. it feels good.

A "sit down" boat doesn't have bolsters.....It's a sit only boat. Look at the pics of a Gladiator in the Classifieds.

So what's the trick to driving them? And what if anything can be done to make them more conventional?

Anytime you are in a Vee over 110mph you have to drive. Wheel feels alittle looser than when running at slower speeds, boat feels light, in OL you gotta hit some neg trim and you gotta drive. Dont know how else to explain it, but its awesome. Outerlimts is the best ride you will get when going Fast! Period. Just figure out what you want to do :boat:

The donzi zrc is what I am leaning towards. My best friend has an 08 38 zr with stagered 525s. I have a lot of time in that boat both at LO and offshore in TX. He runs the boat fairly hard and that thing has not wimpered even once. I know the zrc will be a little different, but the quality will be the same.

It seems I have a few other boats to look at too now. I take my time with decisions and do a lot of research. I keep my boats for a long time so I want to make sure to get the exact right boat for me. I use my boat mostly at LO so I want something at least 36-38' long and up to 42' long. MY boat now is 33', have to go bigger. I want to start doing poker runs in TX and in FL with the boat. I would love to find the perfect boat for just over $100k, but the budget will go up to low to mid $200k to get what I want . Speed would need to be in the mid 90's minimum, breaking 100 would be even better. Fuel injected is a must. No carbs for me.

Michael Allwise has the silver ZRC listed in the classifies. It looks awesome and he just got done with the new paint and interior!! Give him a call he is a great guy!

Saw that one, good looking. It looks to be a straight saltwater boat judging by the pictures. I don't mind a boat that goes to salt occasionally, but lives there makes me a little worried. Does it actually live in salt? I am a fresh water guy.

Did they change the hull/steps from the 05 to like the 08 zrcs or are they the same? Please tell me they are the same, lie to me if you have to.

I really like the look of the donzis. I like the storage behind the back seat, I like the storage in the front deck. These are all cool boats. This is going to be a lot of fun test driving and picking out which boat to buy.

I might have to look at that gladiator too, since I will be at the lake the next two weekends.

Would that gladiator run better with some more aggressive 5 blade herrings or modified merc 5 blades. The props look a little tame (just an observation since props are voodoo to me). Cody's 38zr with staggered 525's has run 92 with the modified merc props and 89 with the herrings, it is a longer/bigger boat (good conditions and at sea level 2'-3' chop). The dealer gave him the wrong props to begin with and it only would run about 80.

Sorry for all the rambling questions. Mind is going a million miles a minute. I'm like a kid in a candy store and I have a fist full of nickels.

Is that like a hermaphrodite porn? Best of both worlds, beautiful chicks with d$cks that put mine to shame.

I like the sit on the floor, low slung boats.

That nortech is good looking though and I like the extra seating and bench rear seat. You have a boat at the lake and a good aditiude, seems to attract people and we seem to always have a boat load.

Thanks again for everyones help. I'm off to the lake for a boat ride and an Ice cold Coors Original.

Call Chip Miller. 586 771 9000. He has the blue 08 38zrc with staggered 525's. runs 97 on gps. 70 hours on it, fresh water only. I think he is asking 169.
