Hey Charlie.
First. I wish all the best to the daring guys running the race and to you Charlie for a successful event.
Second .. To this 2fast9tech2 dude. You have no clue, quit embarrassing yourself any further. I know Charlie personally, and believe you me, he is NOT doing this for a profit.
He doesn’t need to. He is organizing an event that any one attempts and finishes will have bragging right for a long time to come. I would love to have this bragging right even if I finish last. The $1000? peanuts for something you can tell and be proud of at any place performance boating and racing is discussed.
Third. This is not for your average Poker Run boater, This is not a quick sprint to lunch and put-put back to the hotel. This is a true endurance and it’s not a spectator event.
Men has climbed Mount Everest, so they can say to them self and others that they did, yet no media coverage. YOU don’t understand, you don’t belong in the event.
I would love to do it. In fact, (I know time is short) I will pay the entry fee for you 2Fast9tech2 as long as I can just sit in the back. I will fly up. So are you a player?

If anyone can get my Avanti up there from Fla in time, I pay the fee, dinner and all the “T” shirts you want. My truck is OK for local, flat towing, I would have a hard time getting up there, So I miss out.
BTW. The Avanti is Charlie’s hull design, and I KNOW we would do well.

Are any of these boats from last year running this year?
The final few days are here.
We have a British entry that says they would like to take the record back to the UK with them.
We have an Apache that has installed new bulkheads and additional fuel capacity.
We have a twin engine outboard right from the Don Aronow era.
We have a four engine diesel boat that is very long................

Wet and dry pits are Guy La Motta's marina in Port Wasiungton....Manhasset Bay Marina.
For the old guys, we hear that even John Henry Falk will be showing up for this race.

I'm thinking Aronows son & some legends will be there great run if you can go that distance!!If I ran it 3500-4k rpm &cross my fingers slight chance I'd finish!I have a strong boat but a lot of Ocean running scares me
