I've been following this thread for a while, and would have to ask the same.

I suspect that no one want's to be the bearer of bad news, so imho it's looking like it's going to be a flop like last years.

Heres the purpose Bill.

If there are a bunch of guys on here that are going to run, it would be great chatter discussing their boats, all the effort that they are putting into getting prepared and would change the direction of this thread.

I'm sur there would be a bunch of well wishing and questions directed at those that are going. That would be good stuff.

All that would be for the better for the thread and would help the organizers create some positive interest.

But if you want to sit on this thread 24/7 like you have been and just go back and forth about the other valid topic with nothing positive to say then so be it.

I'd tell you to GFY but my post would get taken down.

thanks and my names not Bill but i fit the rest of the bill and if you want to know about the boat then show up at the race or see the last line of your post.

If the only way the members on here get to see whose going and hear about the boats is by attending then I see why its difficult for the organizers to get sponsorship.
I thought the purpose of this thread was to garner some interest, some hype and some enthusiasm for the event.

I know how much effort Charlie puts into HORBA, thats why I paid for the current project boat to be transported from the west coast. And I'm sure there is a bunch of effort going into putting this event on. Good stuff...Kudos to the VOLUNTEERS
But if Charlie asked you to be a cheerleader or you just volunteered , it was a bad idea.

I hope those that enter have a great time and are safe.

Last years results and winner was a great story. Hope the same thing happens again.
