Concerning my position if everyone wants to know so badly, I handle all the customer service/relations, assist in sales, occasional mechanic, occasional transporter, and usually testing boats. Any more questions everyone? Theres prob a few more odds and end things I do as well that don't come right into my head. If you call the factory you'll usually talk to me first.

Well this thread has certainly taken a nice turn to smack talk...Ride in both, if you're talking VEE, I'd have to say Outerlimits, I've been very satisfied with the few boats I've had from them, especially in the roughest conditions.
Nor-tech builds a great boat too, but I feel it's down to your personal preference. Who really cares about the last mph? I guess most, ultimately it is your own decision. Go ride in them, and see how they feel. It's a huge chunk of change to spend on others opinions... Just my 02. |

I'm not a salesman. It's more facts than cheering. All everyone does on here is say how good cigarette is how good Mti is how good skater is ect.....alot of Outerlimits owners arnt on here so I have to stick up for the brand. Especially when a person is looking for a 120mph vee bottom.
I am neutral, I wish I had the money to buy either brand new. My opinion of either is the same (both are good boats. For the 115mph to 120 mph in a great looking V, I would buy a Nortech. If I wanted to go faster than 130 mph (without turning to sharply at WOT) in a V I would buy OL. Difficult choice for any buyer for that 115 mph to 120 mph as originally stated, |
I don't much about boats but as far as V's go this one is suweeet! And it looks way better the closer you get...

Definatley ride in both and what a great ptoblem to have! i have ridden in numerous OL and they are very safe feeling boats at high speed. Lets not forget about the older viynalester resin ol's. They to were way ahead of there times thats why they alost always had huge power in them.

Hm, not to burst your bubble here, I love the new 36, but it will put you ower ½ a mill. Base price with merc's is 408000. With Ilmor's it's 441000. Add equipment, stereo and custom features + trailer and you are there fast.
Second. The 115 mph number is with light load and great conditions. That is not 115 all day. That is 108-110 all day. Load it up with 4-5 ppl, gear, food, drink and whatever stuff we for some odd reason have in our boats, and you'll never see 115 from it. |

Although, my cousin said your buddy's NT will never run the 105 your uncle's brother said it would, in 10-12' seas, although he said Kevin's Pantera will, because he saw it on YouTube. He also said Apache's are over rated and he saw it in a magazine so it must be true. Anyway, getting back to Kenny, he traded back to the Cig after Julie fell out of the Apache in rough conditions. Heather said the Cig was a POS, but I heard from someone else the OL ran better than the Sonic Ron's buddy bought, altough Sam claims his grandfather ran their Sutphen in 50' seas, but it would only top out at 82 mph.. Amy claims that the Sonic or the AT will run circles around Billy's Fountain, which should be no surprise to anyone...
At the end of the day the boat that you can mooch on and claim your own is the best boat in any conditions.... So clearly the OL is the better boat... because Dan told me so!!! :drink: |

Oh man, just reread this thread and there is some funny chit in there! ...my tomach hurts now! :lolhit:

IMO you should first take a ride in both, then make up your own choice. As for the talking from the outerlimits guy he should of let the people that own both brands talk not someone who works there. Not that my opinion counts. IMO both boats are nice boats! Look good and ride good!
