Pantera sounds like the Baja's I'm trying to get away from, no step, no pad, but do good in the rough, and take lots of power to move them.... No thanks

You need to educate yourself on Pantera's. Watch the video on the 28 they just delivered:

Ok, back on the market...

Nordic heat is out of the question, and so is Eliminator 28 Eagle.

Rode in both on lake conroe, peeing blood still:lolhit:

Laveycraft is what I want, can't spend $50k or bert4332's boat would be in my storage right now!

Thanx for plug G-Note, I had it out all week, ran great, again this time of year, +30mph winds and everyone only wants to ride on my boat. I probably won't have it back in the water until September, going back to Annapolis then out of the country for a while. If things change when I get back, trip up to Dallas and we'll go out for a ride.

I had a guy out on Sunday who runs a 28 Nordic cuddy, he couldn't believe the difference in the ride. We were doing 68 into a 25mph head wind in about 2ft chop with an occasional 3, he couldn't believe he didn't spill on drop of his full beer.

Good Luck

Look at the Checkmate 300 Convincor or a ZT28.

24 degree deadrise, pad bottom, notched transom. Ride great in the rough. Will do low 70's with 496 MAG HO and run high 70's-80 with the 525 EFI. I have ridden in them and they are nice and roomy, take the chop great and have nice lines.

I love the 28' Pantera's but they're out of my price range...

No a fan of the "checkmate look"

Here ya go. I was actually looking at this boat but am settling with a single eng boat for personal reasons.

This boat is clean, ready to run, and perfect for the fam

G-note, you may not heard of Mirage boats built in Washington state. They were built rough water in mind for the Pacific Northwest.I have a 25'7 model [ less than a dozen built with twins ] and the 314 in this link is also a rare model ,maybe 6 built . Check it out, little over your budget but who knows how desperate the seller may be. http://www.yachtworld.com/boats/1998.../United-States
