Thanks for posting the photos. Makes me want to do mine. I think thats going to be nice to ditch the AWD. Not a fan of that with where I live and how I drive.

Power takes fuel, older diesels like the 97 F250 I had got decent milage (20mpg@65mph,tuner,downpipe,exhaust) but made less hp,
the new diesels make way more power and the trucks themselves have gotten bigger and heavier at the same time so they suck down more fuel, simple as that, in my opinion most that have them just have them because they want the biggest and baddest , nothing wrong with that but dont ***** about fuel economy when you buy a 450hp 9000lb battleship to cruise as your grocery getter..

That H2 should be a cool hotrod when its done and its tuned

Intake, exhaust and EFI live and tuned to about 500hp on a short wheel base H2 is going to be fun, MPG is going to be around 23HWY, 17city and that way better then what it was at 11HWY and 8 to 9 city and who buys a H2 for MPG thats why i drive a VW :lolhit:

bad azz project! i'm wondering if i should sell mine or do this conversion........ any other pics or details on how the conversion is going? i love the idea of getting rid of the awd and having the power of a dmax.

Exactly ,, just find it funny when guys driving 9000lb trucks shaped like a semi (and almost as big) start arguing about which one gets better fuel milage,LOL...

are you going to sell your old engine and transmission setup?
