Here is a picture that somebody else took at the Macomb Daily Quake on the Lake race at Metro Beach.

That boat would be a HIT with Diesels and Surface drives. Everything tucked under the swimpad... make it longer if needed.

Triple Buzzi(Bootsi ) diesels 650-850hp should make it go very well. IIRC the Hustler50 ran 80 with triple Yanmar 480s and Arneson 8s.

Naming the boat the Aronow might compel a skeptic to say Frisini is just doing it as a marketing ploy. I myself am not a skeptic in this instance. I prefer to believe that it was chosen out of respect for the Aronow name and what he meant to Offshore.

Oh yea! Way outta my league, but I like the way you're thinking of ways to spend pretend money!

I think any diesel proponent would say the same thing. In fact, I did. And Frisini will sell a lot of diesel-powered Aronows overseas.

Hmmm...you are about 10 years behind... here is one of the "Aronow 47s", obviously one the "things" mentioned earlier and not the same hull Frisini Motorsports is using.

But it does have Diesels and Arnesons..

Description from ad:
"1991 ARONOW 47'. TWIN V-12 MTU DIESELS. 1100 HORESPOWER EACH. ARNESON DRIVES TOP OF THE LINE FULLY LOADED. 2 YEAR RESTORATION COMPLETED IN 2006. 70 MPH IN 6 FOOT SEAS"

That aronow 47 was a boat similiar to a cary or magnum and had like a 12" or 14" Beam, the one they are talking about is a 8" Beam. I bought the 47" from Martin Marine on Lauderdale, they never finished it, and had to finish the rigging and interior.
