I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for Checkmates. My first reasonably fast boat was a Checkmate Spectra 201. Lots of good memories there. Best of luck!

with the new 26 being introduced and the new twin step 40 which i believe was an apache coming soon, Checkmate has a lot to offer.

I'm on my 3rd Checkmate! Their mold work is flawless. All their boat hulls and topdecks are end-grain balsa cored! The Pulsare 2100 outboard has a cult following and has been GPS'd at over 96 MPH with a 300xs!!!
