I'd say go with Fountain for the "Fast and Furious" look. But the Formulas have a more spacious cuddy cabin. It just depends on what you like better.

To heck with it all, they both suck. Fountain and Formula. I wouldn't be caught dead in some piece of junk Fountain or some rat-trap Formula if "Phantom" had any sense he own a Phantom. Put some real "big" power in both of them. Take em out to the big water and watch both hulls fall apart. But, you can't polish a terd. MY OPINION!

Yeah..........we had a great day on Saturday. Really nice at the island, sunny and warm. Six of us headed out and anchored the other side of the Casino and water taxied to the island for some burgers and MaiTai's at Luau Larry's. After that, we headed up a couple of coves and set anchor again and did a little snorkeling. Never did hook up with Bobbit. He was at Hooters by 11:00am I think! Party animal! Looked like JR is getting ready for some action at the Catalina Ski Race. Should be great.

I am going out on Friday (for sure) from Newport and maybe Saturday again. Wazzzzup?

After five hours of fly fishing, Turbo manages to get boat and trailer tied up to the launch ramp dock and then receives a citation for side tying a trailer to a floating dock!!!!! Way to go Mr. Dockmaster, let me shouw you how to load a boat onto a trailer that is ten feel under!!!

DMAN, can you read????? Here's a post from the fountain section.........IS IT CRYSTAL CLEAR NOW!!!! I took delivery of my new 2001 38' Lightning about this same time last year. It arrived with major flaws in the gelcoat, some areas missing gelcoat altogether. Also when I ordered the boat I called the factory and asked does the boat really come with a glove box as it says in the brochure? They said yes it does. I also asked if I order air conditioning will it work while underway? They said yes it does. Neither was true. The Factory's response (BK Millaway if any of you know him) "we can't be responsible for what some idiot in the sales department tells you". I don't know what logic there is to that position. As to the gelcoat, they "don't warranty gelcoat" even if was delivered in poor condition.

These guys ARE the best of friends. This is just comedy. Everytime we go out boating they all miss each other whenever one can't make it. But I must say that DMan is the master of the written "Body Slam". Norty is a brave soul to get in the ring with DMan, but he seems to be holding his own. I only wish Jeffery would get into the mix. I have seen him jump from the turnbuckle and land right on DMans neck. Me, I would never, my ring skills are not up to it.
