On Saturday morning and was not able to reach me. Then in the afternoon she got a hold of me, and asked where have I been I started laughing and told her just bought a boat and trailing it home.
Well she never came back home she stayed up in NY, but it turned out to be the best boat that I have ever bought.
Wow that's a great story!

Mine went like this: Wife and I both wanted a bigger boat so we looked at new and used. Found a boat we both wanted. Bought it and ran it for a season. The 500's were not enough so out they came (she knew this when I bought it) spent $$$ doing motors and drives. When the boat was finished she said if I can put all that $$$ in a boat she deserved a new rack. So in went a new set against my judgement. She liked the new found attention so a season later I filed for divorce. Best decision I ever made.

Best reason to upgrade

Your boat has not lost as much as performace boats have, so you will actually come out ahead! It really is a buyers market, and deals are out there.

Also include her in the process and find features that she likes in a boat.

I am very lucky My other half LOVES boats and is always online shopping for a Cat. She wants speed, maybe an enclosed cockpit, and seperate throttle and steering so we can both drive. Hard taking turns now.
