what software did you use to render the image?

I had my 23ft 3D scanned some years ago & then drawn in Delcam.

I use now sketchup pro

Sketchup is pretty cool, just started using it for some building design. Have you ever tried Rhino for 3d rendering?

Yeah I have Rino to, but since I got the hang of sketchup, I am only using this. In the pro version you can export 2D & 3D to Autocad files and so flange lasering etc becomes easy

What are the plans for the bottom ?

Stepped bottem is the way to go nowdays

I would go for 3 steps... but I am open for suggestions

I may be a bit off here, but I know you are re-designing and building diesel power for this project. I should think you should get the power and its overall characteristics, weights and packaging done first before you get to far into hull length and design as the power and its operational charactersistics may have a huge effect on the final hull size, design, drive types and positioning?

Just my two cent opinion and suggestion as a power developer and builder.

No, the diesel are going in a 23 ft waterski raceboat of my design.

This I got out off the fridge.

It was designed (hull sides & deck) from the original 23 footer the have the same looks.

Customer ran out of money so we never got to the hull design.

I still love it so wanted to share

I really like the treatment on the nose of the rendering you posted. Kind of a reverse beak so to speak. It would lend itself to give a longer running surface in the same way a beak takes it away
