This was his 40th resto, Sean took the pics when he was in OHIO, Sunkin just needed a few more days to finish up

BTW,

I am local, and if anyone is seriously interested I could stop down and see John, and take some new pictures of anything you want to see.

Why would someone spend a good amount of money to restore that boat when there are pleny of 47's for sale?

Who ever buys it will spend more money than my father did back in 1988.

Here's a question to ask yourself "Why didn't my father keep the boat?"

He kept all 4 motors, the drives, the trailer etc but not the boat.

The boat sold for $40,000 when it sank.

I knew you dad back in the late '80's and early 90's. We went on the poker runs with Bill Schaefer, Gary Brightwell, Joe (Smokin Joe) Horisck, Art and Nori, and John Gehret in INXS. Up North we ran out of Ocean City, MD while Joe, Art and Nori, and Ray Clary ran out of Indian River Inlet. I was on Lucky Strike on one of the runs out of Indian River. Your dad's a cool guy, please tell him Barry from that old crew said hi. Somewhere I have a picture of him in the Keys with a cap that has two boobs on the bill of the cap. Never saw another cap like it.

This boat also did a brief stint in Sweden after being the Pace boat.
As original LS is my favourite 47 along with Little Ceasars, sad to see them both go downhill.
