I believe Raylar said the Merc 600SC makes around 670hp.

That's a lot different than a 525, although still pretty impressive.

Thats very inaccurate, it makes close to 570hp, roughly 30hp more than the 525HP EFI.

Here's a dyno graph of 2 brand new motors. One being the 525, other being the 600sci. The only change to either is the rev limit is changed to 5850. Stock everything else.
