what should i do

That sounds pretty minor and nit pickin. When I buy used I automatically consider it needing reconditioning on some if not all levels. The only way I would consider otherwise is if I was paying like eighty or ninety perfect of new. I would never think a used anything is a bolt on and go piece.

I sold a sportmaster gearcase to a guy last year. He calls me a month later and says he just put it on that day. He said he checked it before running it and it was full of water. Now, I just put in new gearlube about an hour before I shipped it so I know he was BS'n me. I just said "fine, send it back for a full refund" He said he wanted $600. I just told him No, that's OK. I'll just send you a full refund. I never heard from him again!

this guy wont post pics cause hes a little whiny *****, he took it apart, so why should i have to do any thing about it, they dont powdercoat the frt of it, and it has a dime size chip, and where it boats up to thr transom the edges which never get thick powdercoat is then, he afraid to post pics of the damages but i will.

i sent him pics from a camera and not a iphone as he asked, they look like they did in the pics,i offered to pay for the seals but i guess he wants a new one, powdercoat would cost 200 at the most. im starting to reelly get pissed at his emails towards me. and hes afraid to post pics but i got them and im going to post them so everyone can beaware of this guy, cause all hes doing is trying to get more money out of me to make it easier on him.

Without getting into actual numbers roughly what percent was the purchase price over a new one?

I received the extension box today and honestly from how it was worded on OSO closest thing to brand new. I have to tell you I'm not really pleased. Overall the box is in good condition but here's where the problems are. #1 there is no transom seal it's going to cost me $20 to get one from Stelling. #2 There are scrapes on the side of the box and the one access plate, and on the opposite side major chipping where it was mounted to the transom so it has to be repainted. #3 The grease seal for the carrier bearing has to be replaced it's not just hanging out outside of where it belongs. How the ad was worded and what needs to be done to this it was not worth $1925.00
this is what he wrote me first.
