Sorry Frank, I guess I got confused. I thought this thread was about the checkmate which appears to be a "pleasure" version with a cabin. Then others were comparing it to the chief which is definately a "pleasure" version. I just assumed the speeds were for a "pleasure" version since that is what the thread was about.
Mute point then. Would be like comparing a fountain with a full cabin to a fountain with a race layup.
At the end of the day I guess I'd be willing to sacrifice a few mph to keep the stringers attached.
