I think this is great. Competition always strengthens the sport.
As an aside the pics on the Speed column appear to be a Mystic set up for good old fashioned piston engines.
I am going to order a 50 Mystic when I when the LOTTO!

I don't know but will ask John Cosker the next time I speak with him. I try to call him once a week, so I should have an answer soon. I know that the plan calls for Whispering Turbines to prepare the engines, but that's it.

[QUOTE Matt your right on ,what we need , But a TURBINE boat??? please guess they didnt like mixing it up the with the "little guys" over here. Wasnt the "walk in the park" like they thought it would be. My hats off to WHM and TRASH boy for racing boats that have a clear advantage. They came over here to help biuld a
class and left after after a year .By the time we had it dialed in in ST Clair in 2010 both boats had there hands full. Looks like another wild "trajectory" out of the sport of offshore racing. Should of bought the Reliable boat and came racing. Bet ya there will be a bunch guys willing to come out against that budget... But then again look what happened to their Drag race team.][/QUOTE]
Qatar told us they left because of the inconsistancy of your class showing up at races, they are building a boat to race us because we'll show up. They also hinted at Victory building a turbine boat as well. You obviously have an issue with us Tony by the tone of your posts and the negative things you say about us, but I respect you for what you've done on the race course. I do not however respect the way you talk about us and others off the course.
BTW, they will be running T53's in the races
