I drove Nigel Hook's flat-deck 26' Scarab in a couple of races in the early to mid-1990s and absolutely loved how the boat handled. I always watch the classifieds and if I could get my hands on a Larry Smith 26' it's on my short list.

I've been in the LS 26' of Greg's several times myself. It has surprised the heck out of some people. It's funny to see them do the double take. And yes you better take your shoes off before you get in the boat..lol

Anybody know the insurance on these things? I don't think they are labeled as race boats with the insurance companies.

Also F1-00 can you give me a call at 954-325-7722. id rather talk then type.

Did the other Larry Smith 26' sell? It was in the classifieds about a month ago, all red, 750hp Pfaff engine, looked awsome. Think it was from Havasu area? About $40k?

Yes, i bought it from the guy who purchased it from the seller in Lake Havasu. Did you have any info on that particular boat?

Do you happen to have any info or pics of that old 26 LS Scarab of Trents?

[QUOTE=F1-00 Racing;3631714]Totally agree about Greg, and the boat. Yes that boat (hull #6) that Greg has, I had with my partner Jim as a new boat back in 2000-2001.
