The Meadows are sweet, you have to appreciate the high country.

Bridge Tender is open all year and yes, by far the best burger you'll ever have. I just rode the Flume Trail about a month ago, it's not normally passable this time of year but it's beed so dry this year most of the trails are still clear. Until this last storm front that is. We ride all over during the warmer months, Tahoe has some of the best mountain bike riding around and it's easily accesable.

And last year the Flume didn't open until mid-July, if I remember correctly. Strange year.

last year I had to dig down almost 20 ft to our front door about this time of year. I didn't even bother trying to ride most of the usual trails, we where still hiking/skiing back country stash into Sept.
