No problem, Very good info on the ASD. On the props, I know myself have spent alot of time and money testing what works and what dosent and in the end you wind up with a selection of props, now I love cleavers! With that being said now it would be starting all over again on prop selection as well. For myself and the way I boat (some of the water is pretty trashy with debris), Arnesons prob. arent for me, however I think they are very stout alterative to the overpriced Merc stuff.

SCX uppers, SC lowers is my second choice and the way I will be going. I had a great deal on the ASD 7 set ups but found out they wouldn't work on my hull so I had to pass them up. With the SC lowers theres no speed loss.

I did call Konrad and they said no way to 850-900HP, not even well, maybe, it was flat out no. So, I would think that 800 HP would be pushing it. Now, I did talk to I believe it's Biggus here on OSO and got a little different story.

Go with the SCX and be done with it.

Why would you think they are not for you? For rough and trashy water, they are about as strong as they come. I can see how it can get expensive if you destroy SSM props instead of Bravo props though:poopoo: But the drives will live.

One great thing about dialing in with SSM style props nowadays, is that Bblades and Hering have a "partnership" so they provide SSM props for testing, just like with the Bravo style prop test program.

Remove Bravo's and all related hardware. Sell it here or on Ebay. Put Arnesons on it and pick up 5-10 mph over any brand of outdrive. Then enjoy the crap out of your boat for many years !!! If you factor in all the repairs over the years you will be money ahead.

Just to do a little math. My guess is that your boat was about 81-82 mph with the 2 x 675 hp motors so you would see about a 5-6 mph increase going to 800 hp. Now the SCX or Konrad ect. will probably scrub 2+ mph off that, so it'll leave you at 86 at best. The interesting thing is, that the ASD#7M will most likely put you at atleast 94+.
